Admiring Jehovah God

I find it fascinating. That after all the things I have suffered and all the things I have done, with Jehovah's help I have been able to forget about them. Barely remembering the bad things that used to torment me, but are there as an example to others. That if you try hard and really ask Jehovah God for help, he will really help you. I had to learn and put it to heart that Jehovah God will always be there for you no matter what. I had to learn to really put trust in him fully and depend on him for anything. That when he extends out his hand to you, he will take you in and safeguard you for all of your life. He will embrace you like a child and take care of your injuries, but only if you just let him. Never be anxious of anything and let him take care of the rest. Doing my best to getting to know him, allows me to get to know him better.

“And you, Sol′o·mon my son, know the God of your father and serve him with a complete heart and with a delightful soul; for all hearts Jehovah is searching, and every inclination of the thoughts he is discerning. If you search for him, he will let himself be found by you; but if you leave him, he will cast you off forever." - 2 Chronicles 28:9

Remember: “Keep on asking, and it will be given YOU; keep on seeking, and YOU will find; keep on knocking, and it will be opened to YOU." - Matthew 7:7

'And I began to hear the voice of Jehovah saying: “Whom shall I send, and who will go for us?” And I proceeded to say: “Here I am! Send me.” - Isaiah 6:8

And this is a message from Jehovah God, to all of us. 'This is what Jehovah has said, your Repurchaser, the Holy One of Israel: “I, Jehovah, am your God, the One teaching you to benefit [yourself], the One causing you to tread in the way in which you should walk. O if only you would actually pay attention to my commandments! Then your peace would become just like a river, and your righteousness like the waves of the sea.' - Isaiah 48:17,18

And we must never forget that even Jehovah God himself taught King Nebuchanezzar how to humble himself!  Daniel 4:37 says: “Now I, Neb‧u‧chad‧nez′zar, am praising and exalting and glorifying the King of the heavens, because all his works are truth and his ways are justice, and because those who are walking in pride he is able to humiliate."

What Will God’s Kingdom Accomplish?

A Paradise scene

What Will God’s Kingdom Accomplish?

The Bible’s answer

God’s Kingdom will replace all human governments and rule over the entire earth. (Daniel 2:44) Once that happens, God’s Kingdom will . . .
  • Remove the wicked, whose selfishness harms us all. “As regards the wicked, they will be cut off from the very earth.”—Proverbs 2:22.
  • End all wars. “[God] is making wars to cease to the extremity of the earth.”—Psalm 46:9.
  • Bring prosperity and security to the earth. “Everyone will live in peace among their own vineyards and fig trees, and no one will make them afraid.”—Micah 4:4Good News Translation.
  • Make the earth into a paradise. “Thirsty deserts will be glad; barren lands will celebrate and blossom with flowers.”—Isaiah 35:1,Contemporary English Version.
  • Provide everyone with meaningful, enjoyable work. “The work of their own hands [God’s] chosen ones will use to the full. They will not toil for nothing.”—Isaiah 65:21-23.
  • Eliminate disease. “No resident will say: ‘I am sick.’”—Isaiah 33:24.
  • Set us free from the aging process. “Let his flesh become fresher than in youth; let him return to the days of his youthful vigor.”—Job 33:25.
  • Bring the dead back to life. “All those in the memorial tombs will hear [Jesus’] voice and come out.”—John 5:28, 29.

This is not a work belonging to me. It was published by Jehovah's Witnesses to help meek ones to understand the hidden truth that humans today ignore and avoid taking notice in. To help those who have the desire to learn more about God, to get to know him and also to get to know his only-begotten son Jesus.

A Poem Written By A Jehovah’s Witness Nazi Concentration Camp Survivor

In My Faith
By: Franz Wohlfahrt

In my faith,
 I will always stand firm,
Though this world may taunt and cry,
In my hope,
I will always stand firm,
For a beautiful, better time.
In my love,
I will always stand firm,
Though this world repays with hate,
Devoted,
I will always stand firm,
Though this world disloyal stays.
From God’s Word,
Flows the might of the strong,
And the weak ones it powerful makes,
In God’s grace I will always stand firm,
On my own I could never remain.
With my life,I will even stand firm,
And as I my last breath confer,
You should with that dying gasp hear:
I stand firm,
I stand firm,
I stand firm.

This poem was written by Franz Wohlfahrt (A Jehovah’s Witness Nazi Concentration Camp Survivor). His father was executed in 1939 after he had been called up for military service and explained his standpoint (of not getting involved in any form of man-slaughtering), on Dec 7, 1939.Later, in March 1942, his brother aged 21 was executed after refusing military service. He also lost his foster mother and wife-to-be to Nazi brutality. The poem above was his farewell verse.

** I really love this poem. After watching the Jehovah's Witnesses Stand Firm Against Nazi Assault, it was one of the things that most caught my attention. I know that someday..I too want to have this strong faith towards Jehovah God even to truly stand firm through difficult times. I am not idolizing the creator of this poem, however, I am looking at myself and thinking 'I am proud to be one of Jehovah's Witnesses. To be able to honor Jehovah by keeping my faith and by standing firm regardless of the situation I am put through. We can all imitate Franz Wohlfahrt's as an example for the times to come. We must all put up a fight against Satan in the end. By standing firm and remain faithful to Jehovah through his Son Jesus Christ, we are remaining loyal to our Sovereign Lord Jehovah and helping him to make a reply to Satan who taunts him daily. (Proverbs 27:11) As humans our integrity is always on the line, so we must have faith and in prayer always ask Jehovah God to help us endure and be courageous. **

Respect Jehovah's Authority

I take the heavens and the earth as witnesses against you today that I have put life and death before you, the blessing and the curse; and you must choose life so that you may live, you and your descendants, by loving Jehovah your God, by listening to his voice, and by sticking to him, for he is your life and by him you will endure a long time.. - Deuteronomy 30:19 (Moses speaking to the Israelites.. before his death and their crossing the Jordan, to get to the Promised Land.)

When respecting Jehovah's authority we must be wise and consider these four things:

1. Our Attitude : Never develop a complaining attitude towards Jehovah God and his theocratic arrangements. Be contempt and promote peace! (Philippians 2:14-16; Matthew 7:1-5; Philippians 4:8; Psalm 103:13, 14; 130:3)

2. Our Association : It can influence us for better or for worse. We need to choose OUR friends wisely! (Proverbs 13:20; Galatians 6:7, 8; 1 Corinthians 15:33)

3. Our Morals : Bad association will always lead us to committing immorality. (1 Corinthians 15:1-13; 15:33; Galatians 6:7, 8) We should be wise to NEVER displease Jehovah God especially if we love him completely.

4. Our Worship : Heartfelt appreciation towards Jehovah and his goodness should impel us to never become idolaters; or do anything he hates. (Proverbs 6:16-19; Psalm 97:10; Romans 12:9)

We need to understand that we should always loyally support Jehovah's Authority no matter what. And to never put him to the test, of course he does ask us to test him out.. (Malachi 3:10; 1 Corinthians 10:9). But that doesn't mean always. Jehovah always shows that he loves us and cares for us... :) We must also remember that our faithfulness to Jehovah is always being tested. How? Satan tries to influence us in subtle ways to disobey Jehovah God and lose his favor. Just like the Israelite's were tested in these four areas in life so will be tested in the same areas.

1 Corinthians 10:1-12

'Now I do not want YOU to be ignorant, brothers, that our forefathers were all under the cloud and all passed through the sea and all got baptized into Moses by means of the cloud and of the sea; and all ate the same spiritual food and all drank the same spiritual drink. For they used to drink from the spiritual rock-mass that followed them, and that rock-mass meant the Christ. Nevertheless, on most of them God did not express his approval, for they were laid low in the wilderness. Now these things became our examples, for us not to be persons desiring injurious things, even as they desired them. Neither become idolaters, as some of them did; just as it is written: “The people sat down to eat and drink, and they got up to have a good time.” Neither let us practice fornication, as some of them committed fornication, only to fall, twenty-three thousand [of them] in one day. Neither let us put Jehovah to the test, as some of them put [him] to the test, only to perish by the serpents. Neither be murmurers, just as some of them murmured, only to perish by the destroyer. Now these things went on befalling them as examples, and they were written for a warning to us upon whom the ends of the systems of things have arrived. Consequently let him that thinks he is standing beware that he does not fall.'

Megiddo—A Fitting Symbol

I had recently read this on this site..'According to the New Testament, Megiddo will be the site of the final apocalyptic battle between good and evil.' Quotes from this site.(http://news.yahoo.com/israeli-archaeologists-rare-ancient-jewelry-172650054.html)

Just because Megiddo is mentioned in the Bible both in the Old and New Testament, it doesn't mean it will be 'IN' Megiddo. I love how I learned this. Sure Megiddo was a trading place and it was connected to a lot of fierce and decisive wars that took place in Middle East, but in the Bible Megiddo is just a Symbol. Remember the symbolic terms for the Israelites sacrificing sheep?

Quote from Watchtower Site:

'Does the reference to the “Mountain of Megiddo” mean that Armageddon will be fought at a certain mountain in the Middle East? No. For one thing, no such mountain really exists—at the site of ancient Megiddo, there is only a mound rising about 70 feet [20 m] above the adjacent valley plain. In addition, the area around Megiddo could not begin to hold all “the kings of the earth and their armies.” (Revelation 19:19) However, Megiddo was the site of some of the fiercest and most decisive battles in Middle Eastern history. Thus, the name Armageddon stands as a symbol of a decisive conflict, with only one clear victor.'

'Armageddon cannot be just a conflict among earthly nations, since Revelation 16:14 states that “the kings of the entire inhabited earth” form a united front at “the war of the great day of God the Almighty.” In his inspired prophecy, Jeremiah stated that “those slain by Jehovah” will be scattered “from one end of the earth clear to the other end of the earth.” (Jeremiah 25:33) Thus, Armageddon is not a human war confined to a particular location in the Middle East. It is Jehovah’s war, and it is global.'

Last but least...

Revelation 16:16 states 'And they gathered them together to the place that is called in Hebrew Har–Ma·ged´on.'

'Note, however, that at Revelation 16:16, Armageddon is called a “place.” In the Bible, “place” may signify a condition or a situation—in this case, that the entire world will be united in its opposition to Jehovah. (Revelation 12:6, 14) At Armageddon all earthly nations ally themselves against “the armies that were in heaven” under the military command of the “King of kings and Lord of lords,” Jesus Christ.—Revelation 19:14, 16.'

'What about the claim that Armageddon will be a holocaust involving weapons of mass destruction or a collision with a celestial body? Would a loving God allow such a horrific end to humankind and their home, the earth? No. He expressly states that he did not create the earth “simply for nothing” but “formed it even to be inhabited.” (Isaiah 45:18;Psalm 96:10) At Armageddon, Jehovah will not ruin our globe in a cataclysmic conflagration. Rather, he will “bring to ruin those ruining the earth.”—Revelation 11:18.'

Quote: The word “Armageddon” means “Mountain of Megiddo.”  (Just because Armageddon means 'Moutain of Megiddo' it doesn't mean the war will take place in the site, since geographically there are no mountains in Megiddo.

My first intesive study. Though it was hard to understand at some point. Megiddo is just symbolic. It is a fitting symbol of God’s complete victory over all opposing forces.

Armageddon will not be a human war. It will be God's War. 'No human ruler will be victor. It will be the Kingdom of God that will prove triumphant over all of them, vindicating Jehovah God, the Almighty, as Universal Sovereign.'

'Since Armageddon is “the war of the great day of God the Almighty,” there is nothing that humans can do to postpone it. Jehovah has set an “appointed time” for that war to start. “It will not be late.”—Habakkuk 2:3.'

What Habakkuk 2:3 fully says is ' For [the] vision is yet for the appointed time, and it keeps panting on to the end, and it will not tell a lie. Even if it should delay, keep in expectation of it; for it will without fail come true. It will not be late.'

1 Thessalonians 5:2 says ' For YOU yourselves know quite well that Jehovah’s day is coming exactly as a thief in the night' and it is repeated in 2 Peter 3:10 says 'Yet Jehovah’s day will come as a thief, in which the heavens will pass away with a hissing noise, but the elements being intensely hot will be dissolved, and earth and the works in it will be discovered', also in Revealation 3:3 says 'Therefore, continue mindful of how you have received and how you heard, and go on keeping [it], and repent. Certainly unless you wake up, I shall come as a thief, and you will not know at all at what hour I shall come upon you.'

That why Matthew 24:42 asks us to 'Keep on the watch, therefore, because YOU do not know on what dayYOUR Lord is coming.' And it continues with Mathew 24:43-44 as Jesus explains “But know one thing, that if the householder had known in what watch the thief was coming, he would have kept awake and not allowed his house to be broken into. On this account YOU too prove yourselves ready, because at an hour that YOU do not think to be it, the Son of man is coming.'

'A Capable Wife'

Proverbs 31: 10-31

A capable wife who can find? Her value is far more than that of corals.
In her the heart of her owner has put trust, and there is no gain lacking.
She has rewarded him with good, and not bad, all the days of her life.
She has sought wool and linen, and she works at whatever is the delight of her hands.
She has proved to be like the ships of a merchant. From far away she brings in her food.
She also gets up while it is still night, and gives food to her household and the prescribed portion to her young women.
She has considered a field and proceeded to obtain it; from the fruitage of her hands she has planted a vineyard.
She has girded her hips with strength, and she invigorates her arms.
She has sensed that her trading is good; her lamp does not go out at night.
Her hands she has thrust out to the distaff, and her own hands take hold of the spindle.
Her palm she has stretched out to the afflicted one, and her hands she has thrust out to the poor one.
She does not fear for her household because of the snow, for all her household are clothed with double garments.
Coverlets she has made for herself. Her clothing is of linen and wool dyed reddish purple.
Her owner is someone known in the gates, when he sits down with the older men of the land.
She has made even undergarments and proceeded to sell [them], and belts she has given to the tradesmen.
Strength and splendor are her clothing, and she laughs at a future day.
Her mouth she has opened in wisdom, and the law of loving-kindness is upon her tongue.
She is watching over the goings-on of her household, and the bread of laziness she does not eat.
Her sons have risen up and proceeded to pronounce her happy; her owner [rises up], and he praises her.
There are many daughters that have shown capableness, but you—you have ascended above them all.
Charm may be false, and prettiness may be vain; [but] the woman that fears Jehovah is the one that procures praise for herself.
GIVE her of the fruitage of her hands, and let her works praise her even in the gates.

This was definitely not drawn by me, however it was done by ONE of the MANY Jehovah's Witnesses. And yes someone drew this! It was illustrated in the Watchtower magazine of January 2012: What Can We Learn From Abraham?. I used paint to take the picture of her out and save it to make it as a background picture for my phone and desktop computer. Lol. It gave us an insight of what Abraham's wife Sarah may have really looked like. I just love it! This painting/drawing looks so realistic...I really do believe that Sarah, Abraham's wife did in fact look like this and was a true beauty.

'Sarah was married to an outstanding man of faith. But this godly woman herself set an example worthy of note. Not only was she an obedient servant of Jehovah God but she was also an excellent wife. A wonderful example to all. Rather than competing with her husband for control of the affairs of the family, Sarah cultivated heartfelt respect for her husband, lovingly supporting him as he guided their family. In so doing, she adorned herself - made herself a beautiful- by her positive inner qualities. (1 Peter 3: 1-6) Although the scriptures reveal relatively little about this remarkable woman, we are nonetheless able to glimpse a beautiful picture of her.'

From there, make a right turn on Knowledge Lane.
Keep straight and then make another right on Self Control Road.

As you go on your way, be aware of the traffic jam on Temptation Ave.

You will have to pass up Envy Drive, Hate Avenue, Hypocrisy Street, Gossip Lane and Backbite Blvd.
These are not through streets and will lead you back to Temptation Ave.
Stay on Self Control Road because this will turn into Long-Suffering Lane.
You may have to make a brief detour onto Persecution Blvd if there is construction going on.
